Meet the Pups (part two)

Our annual Pet Contest is in full swing! Appointments are going so fast we decided to extend it for an extra week. The contest is now running until February 16th. This year we are working with East Coast Canine Rescue. To learn more about this amazing organization, click the link: ECCR

We want to help you get to know all of our lovely and amazing contestants. Many of these wonderful animals were rescued and adopted through ECCR. Every week leading up to the contest voting we will be sharing blurbs about each participant. Some you may recognize from previous years but we also have lots of new faces this year. Here are some of the amazing pups that have come in so far!

LIBERTY: Meet Liberty, a 3 year old German Shepherd. She was a birthday present and her family instantly fell in love with her. She loves to play fetch and go on walks. She’s described as a great watch dog, always letting her family know when someone walks by the house. She can be a bit of a baby, however, baby gates in particular can send her whimpering!

EMMETT: This handsome boy is a 1.5 year old black lab. He lives up to his breed’s traits as he loves swimming, diving, and hunting. He’s been known to open doors and dance for treats. He’s also a bit of a ladies man as he has 2 lab girlfriends who he adores. He also loves tagging along to work everyday with his owner.

BREE: This cutie is a 1.5 year old French Bulldog. Her family refers to her as their “healing pup.” She was brought home to help the family cope with the recent loss of a loved one. She has certainly lived up her title with her loving personality. She loves to give kisses and snuggle. She also have a quirky side as she enjoys dressing up and being silly.

LECHE: This adorable mini Rat Terrier is 10 years old. Like many of the animals in out contest, she is a rescue. She’s super smart but also loves to cuddle and sit on your lap.

HANK: This personable pup is a 1 year old Papillon. Aside from being ridiculously adorable, he’s also very playful. He especially loves to play ball. He also enjoys playing with dogs who are much larger then him.

CEASER: He is a 8 month Pit Bull mix adopted from ECCR. He’s an active boy who enjoys destroying toys, running and playing with his sister, Buffy. He can also be a bit of a goofball.

BUFFY: She is a 6 month old German Shepherd mix. Like her brother, she was also adopted. Her favorite pastimes include stealing laundry, breaking out of her pen, and playing with her brother Ceaser. She’s also been described as a love-bug.
