Meet Dalton
Meet Dalton, a 2017 Ellis Tech Graduate. He has been described as a gentleman who is sincere and has a caring heart. He’s a lover of animals, caring for 1 cat, 5 dogs, and 6 chickens. We wanted to take a moment to recognize all of his hard work and share his story with you.
During his high school career he studied Culinary Arts. In his junior year he was 1 out of 5 students in his class to earn their Servesafe Certificate. He has also participated in track for the past two years. This year his track team went undefeated and took home the CSC championship title for 2017. Last year he earned his varsity letter and the Most Improved award. This year his hard work and dedication was rewarded when he received Ellis Tech’s Most Valuable Player award. Even with these wonderful accomplishments under this belt he is still modest. He credits his success to, “two of the best coaches in the state.” They were there to guide him and push him to his greatest potential. He also thanks his amazing teammates who stood beside him all the way. He’s hoping to pursue his passion for track in college and maybe even make a career out of it.
Dalton’s list of achievements doesn’t end there, however. While at Ellis Tech he received honor roll all four years, got a perfect score on the science portion of the CAPT test, and scored high on the SATs as well. He was Vice President of the Simulation Club for two consecutive years, as well as participated in Ski Club, Art Club, and the GSA.
When we asked Dalton where he saw himself in 10 years he stated, “I’m not quite sure what I’ll be doing. I hope to have made somewhat of a name for myself. I would like to have seen parts of the world by then. Everyone has dreams, I am no different. It’s just a matter of striving to make them a reality.”
I think it’s safe to say that Dalton will succeed at whatever dreams he will pursue. We at the portrait studio wish him the best of luck!

I believe family portraits have an important role in building family history. They are a gift you give yourself, your children and generations to come. Beautiful portaits are not expensive… they’re priceless!
